The Big Drift

#australiatrip A large sand dune at Wilsons prom - Big Drift - is Melbourne's best kept secret. The walk from the parking lot takes about 30 minutes. There is a steep section at the end of the walk. For better grip, step on visible footprints. Cap park has toilets. Photographers will find plenty of opportunities here. However, getting lost in the sand dunes is easy, so keep an eye out for the entrance. Carry snacks and water if you plan to spend some time here. The photos should look great around Sunset.
