Also known as the Valley of the Moon, this otherworldly desert landscape is like stepping into a movie set ā literally! #travelinspiration #adventureawaits šļø My Experience: I spent a day exploring Wadi Rum and chose to stay the night at Hotel Rum Titanic, which turned out to be a highlight of my Jordan trip. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the stunning vastness of the desert ā orange sand dunes, dramatic rock formations, and endless skies. During the day, we joined a desert excursion in a 4x4 with a local Bedouin guide. We visited iconic spots like Lawrenceās Spring, Khazali Canyon, and climbed a red sand dune for sunset. The silence of the desert and the golden glow on the rocks felt surreal. As night fell, we returned to the hotel, which is located right in the heart of the desert. The ambiance was magical ā the sky turned into a galaxy of stars, and we enjoyed a delicious traditional dinner followed by Bedouin tea around the fire. Most tours include pick-up and drop-off from your hotel. - Dress in layers: it can be hot during the day and chilly at night. - Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a scarf to protect against the desert wind and sun. - Stay overnight: Wadi Rum is beautiful during the day, but at night under the stars, it's pure magic. - Disconnect to reconnect: Thereās limited signal out there, so take the chance to unplug and soak it all in. šµWhy Itās Perfect for April Blooms: While Wadi Rum isnāt full of flowers, the desert blooms in its own unique way.
