Strolling Around Bristol - Weston-super-Mare

🌊 📍Location: Weston-super-Mare (round-trip train tickets are less than £6) 🚞 Transportation: Direct train from Bristol Temple Meads to Weston-super-Mare (Picture 6), approximately 30 minutes. After arriving, follow the crowd for 10 minutes to reach the seaside. ⚠️Caution! Choose the seaside exit when leaving the train station. Taking the wrong exit will lead to a long detour across the railway! It's not particularly stunning, just an ordinary seaside town, but it's quite comfortable to enjoy the breeze on a sunny day. There aren't any special attractions. The advantage is its proximity to Bristol, making it convenient for a relaxing getaway or sunset viewing. A small island is visible in the distance (Picture 4), but it requires a long detour, so we didn't go there. The Grand Pier amusement park has bumper cars and arcade games (Picture 2). There are many restaurants and cafes by the sea. We ate at 📍Number One Fish & Chips, £10.5 for a large box (Picture 5), enough for two people with smaller appetites. The fish wasn't fishy but a bit oily. Remember to watch out for crows! My chips were precisely targeted by bird droppings.😭 🌤️ Summary: An affordable and relaxing spot close to Bristol, perfect for watching sunsets and daydreaming.
