After living in Wenzhou for a long time, I discovered that Dongtou in Wenzhou is an underrated island town with many attractions and beautiful scenery. If you still don't know where to go this Spring Festival, you can experience the slow life on the island. 📍Location | Wenzhou City, Dongtou District 🚘Transportation|Self-driving 1.5h ✈️Itinerary | Xiao Erhai—Huagang Fishing Village—Wanghai Tower—Colorful Dongtou Village—Dong'ao Beach—Sea Moon Dyke—Banping Mountain—Xian Die Rock—Dasha'ao Beach 🌟Attraction Introduction: 1️⃣Xiao Erhai: Navigate to 'Zhongyu Waiting for You Travel Station', park in the parking lot, walk inside, and you'll reach the check-in spot and the colorful wave breakers; 2️⃣Huagang Fishing Village: You will pass by on the way from Xiao Erhai to Wanghai Tower. The fishing village is small, with houses built of stone. I glanced at it without stopping to get off; 3️⃣Wanghai Tower: Requires a separate ticket. You can climb up to Wanghai Tower for a great view and enjoy the sea breeze; 4️⃣Colorful Dongtou Village: A fishing village built against a small hillside, with a scenic trail inside, many homestays and shops, as well as native residents. It's beautiful, and along the coastal road side, there are seafood stalls; 5️⃣Dong'ao Beach: Adjacent to Colorful Dongtou Village, it's a free beach with a huge crowd. You can take a speedboat on the sea, and the surrounding area is full of homestays and restaurants; 6️⃣Sea Moon Dyke: A walkway extending into the sea where you can stroll and enjoy the sea breeze, with average playability; 7️⃣Banping Mountain: The parking lot was full, so I didn't get in. Thinking it would be similar to Xian Die Rock, I went directly to Xian Die Rock; 8️⃣Xian Die Rock: The largest scenic area in Dongtou, walking along the coastal plank road for about two to three kilometers. A slow walk takes 3 hours, with many check-in spots along the way and beautiful scenery, leading to Dasha'ao Beach. 🌟Budget 1️⃣There are many beaches in Dongtou, some free and some requiring tickets.
