Jiangxinyu and Gongqing Lake

Jiangxinyu is a cultural landmark of Wenzhou, and Gongqing Lake is a gem in the north of Jiangxinyu. The water area of Gongqing Lake is 0.11 square kilometers, which was voluntarily excavated by Wenzhou Gongqing League members in the 1980s. Through the construction of the Beautiful River and Lake Waterway in 2022, the water is now clear as a mirror, with waves rippling, and egrets playing in the lake from time to time. Tourists walk and relax on the side, stop to take pictures, presenting a beautiful and harmonious ecological picture. Jiangxinyu carries the history of water control of several generations, with four parts: 'Song of Youth', 'Thinking of the Source of Drinking Water', 'Exploring the Source of Hydrology', and 'Protecting the Source of the Seawall'. The completion of Gongqing Lake has made Jiangxinyu a scenic spot of 'There is an island in the river, a lake in the island, a garden in the lake, and a mountain in the garden'.
