The best time is when the oranges, yellows, and greens are most vibrant The season for climbing high to enjoy autumn is about to arrive I have already walked over 140 hiking routes Today, I have organized 9 day-trip autumn viewing routes for everyone The whole journey is easy and stress-free~ The best time to see the colorful forests is from late October to early November~ 1️⃣ Wolong Gengda Pine Forest Bay Park at the foot of the mountain and take a local shuttle bus to Lama Temple. The scenery is all along the way, walking and playing for about 3 hours, very fun~ 2️⃣ Wenchuan Laoyashan Low altitude, no need to worry about altitude sickness, about 5 km hiking. You can also take a local shuttle bus up the mountain. You can see meadows, colorful forests, sea of clouds, and herds of cattle and sheep. The scenery is beautiful~ 3️⃣ Jintang Laoniupo (Jintang Yanjing Village Health Station) I would call this the most beautiful autumn ridge hiking route. The whole route is 9 km. The scenery in the second half is average, you can turn back at the reeds, about 4 km one way. Here you will find hills full of firethorn, swaying reeds, and herds of cattle and sheep. The entire route is almost all dirt road, not recommended after rain~ 4️⃣ Longcanggou Deep autumn in Longcanggou is truly a forest dyed in layers of color. The whole hike is zero difficulty, all stone slab roads, easy for adults and children alike, with lots of ways to play~ 5️⃣ Dujiangyan Tongmagou Bamboo Sea Park This is a very simple route to see colorful forests. After parking, just walk along the cement road to reach the most beautiful spot. Beginners are advised to return here, as the road ahead is not easy to walk. About 3 hours round trip~ 6️⃣ Pengzhou Glacier Waterfall There is a very famous thousand-year-old ginkgo tree here, suitable for beginner hikers. Along the way, there are red leaves, yellow maples, and lush vegetation. Every shot is beautiful~ 7️⃣ Pengzhou Gexianshan This can be called the ultimate family hiking autumn viewing spot. The scenery is diverse, very interesting, and the path is flat, suitable for light hiking with the whole family~ 8️⃣ Chongzhou Dutongyan You can drive directly to the viewing platform or choose to hike. There is a free 360-degree viewing platform with panoramic mountain views. The scenery along the way is very nice. Hiking from Daping Village to the viewing platform is about 6 km~ 9️⃣ Dujiangyan Tianxin Driving School There is an abandoned road here, with fallen phoenix tree leaves and a creek, perfect for picnics and very photogenic. Great for photo check-ins and can be combined with nearby Tongmagou Bamboo Sea Park for a visit~
