#December Travel Support Event The scenery I saw while walking around Washington DC was really great. While walking along the National Mall, the wide space facing the Lincoln Memorial* and the Washington Monument was quiet and magnificent. The squares and streets where the Capitol and Smithsonian Museums are located also gave a feeling of history and culture as I walked. In particular, the parks and gardens were beautifully decorated in spring and fall, making it a special time to feel nature in the city.
