Come see the Lincoln Memorial.

#WinterTravel This trip… I intended to visit the Lincoln Memorial. It was first opened in 1922 and built to honor and commemorate the 16th President Abraham Lincoln. The 18-meter-high seated statue is located at the western end of the National Mall. If we stand here and look back to the opposite side, we will see the Reflecting Pool followed by the Washington Monument, which is beautiful and full. We came in the winter. The reflecting pool was completely covered in ice. There were people running around there, but we didn't dare go up there because we were afraid the ice would break. Free admission, open 24 hours a day. Staff working hours are 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. every day. There is also a souvenir shop inside. #TravelAmerica #TravelAbroad
