Washington DC, Smithsonian Museum [National Air and Space Museum]

#USAtrip #WashingtonDC #SmithsonianMuseum During my 2019 trip to the US, I took a day trip bus tour to the National Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. There were many rocket models and space suit exhibits, as well as many panel exhibits, which were very interesting. There was an exhibit commemorating the release of the Star Wars movie, and the shop was selling stuffed toys of Hello Kitty and space suit versions of teddy bears. Of course, there were also many inexpensive items such as postcards and key chains, so it was fun to choose souvenirs. At the Intrepid in NEW YORK, which I visited previously, which is also called the Sea, Air, and Space Museum, there were experiential events such as exhibits of airplanes deployed outdoors and a tour of the inside of a small submarine, and a special Star Trek exhibition where I entered a transporter booth... it was a very fun experience. This National Air and Space Museum is centered on exhibits... There are displays of actual space suits, shuttle models, and it's a very interesting experience for space and airplane lovers, and it's also educational. On the day trip from New York, we rushed around and didn't have time to relax, so if you also want to see the National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institution, you should give up on other tourist attractions and just visit the two museums at the Smithsonian Institution (Natural History Museum + Air and Space Museum), and you'll be fine if you hurry around. The Smithsonian Institution has 19 museums and art galleries, so it might be a good idea to stay a night or two and enjoy it a little more.
