Wanaka, one of New Zealand's favorite towns It is really a great pleasure to take a walk and take photos by the Wanaka Lake early in the morning. The photos in this article were taken when we went there in 2011. You can walk, ride a bike, or have a picnic by the lake. There is also a children's play area. It is a really comfortable place. I still remember that there were people practicing canoeing on the lake early in the morning. There was also an I-site nearby where we could consult on travel issues.
