[Hokkaido] Wakkanai Port North Breakwater Dome: A heritage site reminiscent of Roman ruins

#0yentravel I visited the Wakkanai Port North Breakwater Dome on a winter night. The huge semi-arch structure towering in the darkness was illuminated by lights, creating a unique impact. As the snow fell, only the sounds of the waves and the wind echoed, creating a quiet but somehow solemn atmosphere. When I thought that this was a place where people from the Sakhalin route once passed by, I felt the romance of travel. And I began to think that I would have liked to see this dome when it was actually in use. It was bitterly cold, but I felt that I had encountered a scene that was reminiscent of the depths of winter.
