Rebun Forest Road - Enjoy nature all to yourself

Rebun Island Rebun Forest Road A trekking course between the ferry terminal Kafuka Port and Momoiwa Observatory. The view of alpine plants to the west, Rishiri Island, and Wakkanai is outstanding! Along the way, there is a colony of Rebun Usuyukisou (best seen from mid-June to August). The course is an unpaved forest road, but it has few ups and downs and is suitable for beginners. Several trekking courses were temporarily closed due to heavy rain a few years ago, but some (such as the Rebun Forest Road Course) have been open since May of this year! Some sections are still closed, so if you are going, please check the Rebun Island website in advance. There is a colony of Usuyukisou along the way, and most people turn back here. Since few people go to Kafukai, this is a secret summer resort spot. You can have the great outdoors all to yourself.
