Kuroshio Fish Market in Wakayama

One of the prominent places in Wakayama Prefecture is the Kuroshio Fish Market. The highlight of this place is the tuna slicing show every day, 3 times a day. After slicing, it is brought to sell fresh. There is a corner for souvenirs such as dried seafood and a place where fresh food is sold on skewers, which can be put on a BBQ grill for free. There are grills and seats to accommodate many customers, both indoor and outdoor. On weekdays, there are very few tourists. The atmosphere of grilling by the sea is very satisfying. I was impressed on the way back before the market was about to close. Seafood is half-price at every shop.
