1 night 2 days on the Noto Peninsula~!

We stay the first night in Shin-Yokohama. Starting at 6:20, we line up to enter breakfast. As expected from a large hotel, about 30 people are already in line at that time. We finish breakfast by 7 and check out. The airport limousine bus departs intermittently from the hotel, but in the morning, only the Shin-Yokohama Station departure is available. The hotel is a 4-minute walk, so it’s not far. Thanks to Dokle, the rain stopped.🙏 If you take the limousine bus at 7:15, you’re expected to arrive at Haneda Terminal 2 by 7:55, but I overlooked the Russia war. Around 7:20, the bus arrives and starts with a 5-minute delay. Most of the route is through tunnels, but it starts to get congested due to rush hour. The flight is at 8:55, but even after 8, we’re still on the road. We arrive at Terminal 1 around 8:10 and get off at Terminal 2 at 8:20. For domestic flights in Japan, ticketing closes 40 minutes before departure and check-in closes 20 minutes before. Fortunately, I issued a mobile ticket on the bus. Without luggage, I immediately line up for check-in, but there are over 200 people. I thought I wouldn’t make it, but at ANA, dozens of staff with iPads find passengers whose flights are about to depart by flight number and escort them to the fast track. I check in at 8:30 on that flight. There were dozens of others besides me.🤣 Just when I thought it was all over, domestic flights to Oji make you take a bus and move for over 5 minutes. I thought we’d climb stairs, but there’s a completely different building. Wow. If you get gate numbers 45 to 47 or so, you’re in for a tough time lol. Still, thanks to the systematic(?) system of my home country, even arriving at the airport at 8:20 forces you to be seated by 8:50, so the flight departs on time. Clap clap clap 👏👏👏 Today’s destination is Noto Airport. ANA has a monopoly and operates two flights a day, so there’s no limousine bus or train, but there is a system called Furusato Taxi. It requires advance reservation, so I booked it 3 days before departure. This taxi only accepts cash from the driver, and the fare is fixed at 1,300 yen, comfortably taking me 40 kilometers to Suzu City. I share the ride with a Suzu resident who took the same flight. A jumbo taxi with 8 seats arrived. We tour and have lunch in Suzu for about 3 hours. Then we move to Anamizu for sightseeing and ride the Noto Railway. We also have a snack time at Hakui Station. Since it’s not a common area, I’ll show everything in photos. We return to Kanazawa around 7 and check into the hotel for the second day. Again, I get upgraded to the premium floor on the top floor. The room overlooks Kanazawa Station. With rain forecasted for tomorrow, I force a night walk. This is my 7th trip to Kanazawa, but only the 3rd time sightseeing downtown. I also found a Pokémon manhole cover. I also capture the late autumn scenery of Kanazawa. Because of that, the Michelin-starred yakitori place I had marked to visit was already closed due to sold-out ingredients just before 10 pm. Morning comes. With a 100% rain forecast, I wake up around 6. The weather is cloudy with light rain. I go back to sleep until 7. The rain stops and starts repeatedly even in a short time. I activate Plan B. The morning schedule involves a 40-minute round trip walk outdoors, so I decide to cancel due to the rain and wind. I join breakfast an hour and a half late at 8:30. I leisurely finish breakfast by 9:30. I check out at 10:30 and join afternoon tea at a hotel near Omicho Market at 11. It’s a classic hotel that feels the tradition of Kanazawa. The scenery is reminiscent of Mitsui Kyoto. Afternoon tea in Kanazawa blends autumn and Christmas. Because I ate breakfast late, I’m speechless at the heavy afternoon tea set at 11. It’s huge.🤣 The service is on par with 5-star, and the restaurant atmosphere is great. After finishing the first afternoon tea, having completed the Pokémon manhole mission from the night before, I only target the Samurai District. The rain stops when I walk outside and only falls during afternoon tea—what luck. The Samurai District is quite small.^^ I enter the second afternoon tea of the day at 2 pm. I spend 1 hour and 15 minutes here until it’s time to take the limousine bus to Komatsu Airport. I get off 50 minutes before departure at Komatsu Airport and get boarding passes for my return flight to Gimpo tomorrow all at once through the automatic ticket machine. I rest in the Komatsu lounge, board, and head to Tokyo. Today’s hotel is the Skytree View Hotel after a long time. They say this hotel offers the closest room to see the Skytree.^^ Not wrong.
