[📍Waiheke Island] Auckland's jewel, reachable in about 40 minutes by ferry💎🏝️

Waiheke Island, which can be reached by ferry from Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, is also known as the "Jewel of Auckland." This island is famous for its wine, and many people come there in the summer, which is the main season! Waiheke Island is the second largest island in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand. To get to Waiheke Island, you take a ferry from Auckland Port. Auckland is known as the "City of Sails" because of its well-developed marine transportation system, including ferries. It takes just under 40 minutes by ferry from Auckland to Waiheke Island. After purchasing the ferry ticket, we were able to board the ferry and depart in just 5 minutes. However, there were reports that it took 2 hours to wait in the summer, so please allow yourself plenty of time. During the ferry ride, we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the harbor. The ferry was two-story, so when we went out onto the deck, the breeze was pleasant and we could see the whole of Auckland city.
