Hiking in Viñales, Cuba

☝️The Prehistoric Mural from 2003 (Before and After Restoration) Returning to the Prehistoric Mural, wow... what happened? It looks completely unrecognizable now 😱😱😱. To figure it out, I dug up a photo from 22 years ago for comparison—it turns out the restoration went overboard! Los Jazmines Trail. Viñales is Cuba's most famous tobacco-growing region. There are 12 trails near the town, and we stayed here for four days, choosing four trails to hike on our own. Most people hire a guide (three hours for €15), but the trails are actually well-marked, with gentle slopes and rest areas along the way. Compared to the suburban mountains in Taipei or Cuenca, these trails are much easier to walk.
