Heuan Lao Guesthouse in Vientiane is a warm and cozy homestay. 💐This homestay is not commercialized like a hotel, which meets my imagination of a homestay. The homestay owner is a passionate old couple, which makes me feel at home and relieves the fatigue of a long journey. 💗 The homestay is in a good location, within walking distance to the main attractions in Vientiane, but it is quiet in the bustling alley next to the main road. The decoration style of the homestay is unique, mainly wooden buildings, retaining traditional Lao elements. The room is a bit old, but it is clean and tidy, and it feels like living in a local's home. 😊 The cats are the cutest guests. I remember when we checked in, the grandma picked up a stray kitten from the ground and stuffed it into my cat-loving friend's arms. My friend was so happy. The cats like to accompany the old couple in the sunny afternoon and enjoy the quiet time together. During my stay here, I didn't count how many cats there were. 😸The sun shines through the green shade on the ground, and I lie barefoot on the floor, tease the cats, and chat with the old couple, listen to their stories, which is also a different travel experience. 💮
