#Overseas Travel There is a very special indoor theater in Vicenza. It was designed by the famous architect Andrea Palladio during the Renaissance in the 16th century. It was his last work before his death, and he died before the theater was completed. The theater is called Teatro Olimpico, and the most amazing thing about it is that the auditorium is designed based on the theme of an ancient Roman amphitheater. The oval-shaped stepped auditorium is surrounded by a sculptured colonnade on the outermost edge, restoring the essence of classical architecture. The theater held its first performance in 1585. The stage set built for the play at that time incorporated visual perspective effects and created seven streets in the center of the stage.
