Vicenza, Italy 🔶 Basilica Palladiana

#Overseas Travel Vicenza is a small city in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, between Venice and Verona. It is famous for its 16th-century buildings designed by Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The entire Vicenza and the building designed by Andrea Palladio have been listed as a World Cultural Heritage. Among them, the Palladian Cathedral, Basilica Palladiana👉🏻, is located in Piazza dei Signori, and is the most important landmark of Vincenza. The church has an impressive loggia and bell tower. The loggia incorporates ancient Greek architectural elements, with Doric columns on the lower level and Ionic columns on the upper level. There are two columns on Piazza delle Riche, one of which was built in 1464 and is the Lion of St. Mark representing the Republic of Venice.
