Opulence maximum

This is undoubtedly amongst the world's most beautiful palaces. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. The gardens, the facade the art work, what opulence. I can't believe we took the RER from the invalides for under 4 euros and then a quick 10 minutes walk from the Versailles station. Normally, I have spent much more and travelled longer for somethings and found myself disappointed. This was a total turn around! There is going to be a lot of walking. So come with the most comfy pair of shoes. The hall of mirrors and arts and paintings were so awesome. Gardens and fountains to the back of the palace are a must see. Get the audio guide. It will improve the experience greatly. This is also a very popular spot. So it's bound to be crowded. I'd say come with time and don't be in a rush.
