[Rome🇮🇹] Stunning beauty! St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City

I visited St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City! The grandeur of the exterior is overwhelming, but once inside, it's even more impressive. The ceiling decorations, mosaics, and the beautifully shining altar are all worth seeing in detail. It's a very popular tourist spot, so I recommend going as early in the morning as possible! I visited just after the gates opened, so there were relatively few people and I was able to enjoy it in a quiet atmosphere. In the afternoon, there are long lines, so if you visit with plenty of time, you can enjoy it comfortably. It's a spot you definitely can't miss if you come to Rome! Please note that the papal mass is often held in the square on Sunday mornings, and viewing inside the cathedral may be restricted. If you want to see it thoroughly as a general tourist, it is recommended to visit early in the morning on a day other than Sunday 🌟 #0 yen travel February 2025
