Persepolis!

You can get to Persepolis from the center of Shiraz by taxi in an hour and a half! You need to negotiate the fare for the taxi, which is about 15 euros round trip. If you want to go to nearby Nag Jeroqtam, it's about an extra 3 euros. Nag Jeroqtam is also amazing, so be sure to check it out too. The entrance fee for foreigners is about 6 euros. The ruins are large, so it will take about an hour if you walk quickly. There is a small hill behind the ruins, from which you can see the whole of Persepolis, so be sure to go there.
