Uttaradit Station, a station worth exploring

It is a modern building with a station hall in the middle of the building. Other areas are open for rental to shops on the side of the road, such as computer and IT equipment shops, stationery, gold jewelry, clinics, meat, rice, photography, groceries, and photo shops. The current station was built to replace the old station building, which was a 2-storey reinforced concrete building in a modified Thai style, along with the construction of the Uttaradit Clock Tower, which is a combination of Thai and Western art, with a four-sided pavilion on the top of the clock tower. It is currently the office of the State Railway of Thailand. The station also has the shortest fishtail pillar in the country on the north side of the station.
