Hachimanyama Park Utsunomiya Tower

#thingstodo From Utsunomiya Station West Exit Platform 2, take the Tomatsuridai Circulation Miya Bus and get off at Showa Elementary School, then walk there. The tower is located on the top of a small mountain, so there are slopes and stairs from the bus stop. Admission is cheap at 190 yen, and what's even better is that the telescope on the observation deck is free. It's a nice place where you can see the cityscape, the mountains in the distance, and the Tohoku Shinkansen running at breakneck speed.
