As your first stop in Xinjiang, a visit to Urumqi must include the renowned Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Museum. Here, you can marvel at the famous Five Stars Rise from the East tapestry armband and the "Mirrors: A History of China" exhibition from the National Museum of China. However, what captivates most visitors are the "Beauty of Loulan" and the "Princess of Xiaohe," offering a glimpse into a millennium past. During my visit, the Princess of Xiaohe was off display, so I only saw the Beauty of Loulan. For visitors from other parts of China, witnessing these ancient individuals from thousands of years ago is a truly remarkable experience. Their remarkably preserved remains appear incredibly lifelike.
