Dabancheng Baishui Town is located at the foot of the majestic Tianshan Mountains, and is the shining pearl in the southern part of the Dabancheng Basin, guarding the throat passage in and out of the Tianshan Mountains, becoming the natural dividing line between the north and south of Xinjiang. Since ancient times, it has been an indispensable important post on the Silk Road. Baishui Town, due to its unique geographical location, has become a wind port. People jokingly say that there is only one season of wind here, stretching from the long winter to the warm spring. It is the continuous wind in winter that limits the growth of trees in this area, causing the trunks to lean towards the southeast, creating the unique phenomenon known as one of the 'three wonders' of Dabancheng, also called 'Machete Trees' or 'Wind Direction Trees'. However, once summer arrives, tranquility and warmth follow, with gentle breezes and a pleasant climate. As a cultural stronghold on the Silk Road, Baishui Town not only has places that display historical culture such as the Folklore Museum and the Wang Luobin Art Gallery, but also facilities that recreate the bustling scenes of the Silk Road, such as the Baishui Post Station, tea houses, and stables. In addition, the architectural complex imitating the style of the Tang Dynasty's Western Regions makes one feel as if they have traveled through time and space, finding themselves in the border military towns of the Tang Dynasty's heyday. With a moat surrounding, drawbridges spanning, beacon towers soaring, and weapon platforms standing tall, everything vividly reproduces the majestic atmosphere of the past as described in 'Ancient forts rely on steep dangers, high towers view the Five Cool Regions, mountain roots twine around post roads, river waters soak the city walls.'
