Gushikawa Beach

#okinawatrip Quiet neighborhood beach. No amenities. The locals are proactive about trying to keep the beach clean washed up trash. The nearby power plant has warmed the waters so the seaweed and algae grows very thick here. When it’s extreme low tide, it doesn’t smell the greatest because of the dried seaweed. Great place to watch sunrise or east coast sunset or read a book. Not really a beach to spend the day swimming at though.
