A Perfect Day at Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens is a stunning place to spend half a day immersed in nature. On a sunny day, the beauty of Kew Gardens is captivating. The humid and warm tropical greenhouse transports you to the scenes from 'The Botanist's Daughter.' Although I missed seeing the Waterlily Amazonian Victoria this time, visiting Kew Gardens never gets old. Spending an afternoon wandering and soaking up the sun is always worthwhile. My favorite greenhouse is the Princess of Wales Conservatory, inaugurated by Princess Diana in 1987 in honor of her grandmother, the Princess of Wales. It features ten computer-controlled climate zones that simulate different ecosystems by precisely adjusting temperature, humidity, and light. It's like a glass maze that takes you from a humid tropical rainforest to a dry desert in an instant. This is the season when various flowering plants are at their most vibrant, offering a sense of healing. Recently, there's also a Marc Quinn sculpture exhibition, with giant metal orchids near the Palm House. Seeing his work in person is truly awe-inspiring.
