Kao Piak Sen - Udonthani A famous rice vermicelli restaurant in Udon Thani Province. It is a Vietnamese restaurant that has received the MICHELIN Guide for three consecutive years (2023-2025). When you arrive in Udon, you have to try it. Whenever you come, there will be a lot of people, but you won't have to wait long because finding a parking spot is harder than getting a queue. 😂 The atmosphere in the shop is decorated in green tones with wooden furniture. The air conditioning is cool and comfortable, unlike a rice vermicelli shop. It's more like sitting in a cafe. Once you come in, don't hesitate to order one of each. 🍜 Tom Yum rice vermicelli and Tom Yum steamed dumplings. The noodles are chewy and soft. There are pork bones, eggs, and pork rolls. The soup is rich and the Tom Yum flavor isn't very spicy. But if you like spicy food, add more chili. The bowl is quite big. 🧆 Sticky rice vermicelli. The filling is minced pork and stir-fried shrimp. The sticky rice vermicelli is as the name suggests. It's hard to cut it off when eating. I recommend chewing carefully and taking small bites because the noodles and the throat will fight because the rice vermicelli is always ready to get stuck in the throat. Eat it with a sweet and sour sauce. 🫓 Vietnamese steamed rice vermicelli. It looks like our steamed rice vermicelli. But it's just the appearance because the dough is made from rice flour topped with dried shrimp, shredded pork, pork rinds, chili, and sweet and sour sauce. 🥓 Deep-fried pork rinds, a basic but delicious menu, cut into square cubes and dipped in chili sauce.
