Free admission to Uda Animal Park, Nara Prefecture

Uda Animal Park is a small zoo located in Uda City, Nara Prefecture, Japan. It is a great place for a picnic or family vacation. There is a garden for relaxation and cherry trees are planted all around. In spring, the cherry blossoms bloom beautifully. This zoo is free to enter, so it is popular with families with young children because there are many family activities to do in the park, such as animal shows, long slides, mascot shows, and bubble balloons. There are many animals in the zoo, such as goats, sheep, ponies, cows, chickens, pigs, and rabbits. We can feed some of the animals. The highlight of this place is the “goat show”. At 3:00 p.m., the goats are released to walk in a row along a tall wooden board. All the goats walk in a row in an orderly manner, and they are not afraid of heights at all.
