Tübingen is truly a city meant for walking. No matter which direction you choose, every step leads to picturesque scenery unfolding before your eyes. Starting with a stroll along the Neckar River, I soon found myself wandering into alleys lined with quaint timber-framed houses painted in shades of yellow and orange. At the end of one alley, children were playing joyfully while elderly women sat peacefully on benches, chatting away. Without a set plan, I stumbled upon the Marktplatz, which felt like a vibrant movie set. The aroma of coffee mingled with street performances, creating a moment that made me pause and savor the atmosphere. The uphill path to Tübingen Castle was a bit steep, but the panoramic view of the town from the top was more breathtaking than any observation deck. What I loved most about this town was its tranquility. The slower I walked, the more hidden gems I discovered.
