Tak Wah Park in Tsuen Wan

Tak Wah Park is situated in the centre or Tsuen Wan and close to the town centre. According to the information at the park, it is developed on the old site of Hoi Pa Village. The Old House, one of the retained buildings of Hoi PA Village, was declared a monument in 1986. There are facilities such as the Camellia Garden, Herb Garden, children's playground, rock mountains made from Tauhu rock (a kind of limestone produced in Suzhou which is close to Lake Tai), ornamental lakes, stone bridge, pavilion, etc. Passed by Tak Wah Park every time when shopping but have never entered it. Wondering what is inside the park, I enter the park and walk along the stone bridges. Old and tall trees shaded the pavilions. It is a relaxing and pleasure place in the heart of Tsuen Wan this busy district. The air seems more refreshing inside the park haha...
