Aurora Tour in Tromsø, Norway 📍Overview I recently joined an aurora tour in Tromsø, Norway, and it was an experience I will never forget! Our tour guide was so nice, talkative, and caring🤍, making the entire journey enjoyable. We traveled in the shuttle bus 🚌 to the aurora viewing spots, our guide kept us engaged by providing fascinating insights about Tromsø. I learned why many families have yellow or orange lights 💡in their homes, which adds a unique charm to the landscape. The guide also shared interesting facts about the aurora borealis, including the various colors it can display and the rarity of certain hues. To ensure we had the best chance of seeing the aurora, the tour guide utilized an app to identify locations where the aurora lights were strongest. As long as the weather was favorable and the sky was clear, seeing the aurora wasn't difficult, especially in January when it appears nearly every night. 🥳 Once we arrived at our first viewing spot, we had about an hour to explore and take photos in different areas. If they found another location with stronger aurora activity, they would take us to that place to ensure we had the best experience. This level of attentiveness and dedication truly made a difference. To be honest, it was so cold especially during the late night, but luckily the tour also provide hot chocolate🍫 and biscuits and also settled a fireplace to warm ourselves and marshmallows! ☕️
