Residence Kampot is located on Lak Muang Road, Nai Mueang Subdistrict. It is a three-storey half-brick, half-timbered building with a hip roof. It was formerly the residence of the French governor, called the Residence, who was assigned by the French government to govern Trat Province. He was responsible for governing and commanding military and civilian officials during 1910-1921. It was later used as the residence of the Trat Governor for a period of time (1907-1928).
