Tottori sand dunes to watch the sunset

The only "desert" in Japan is in Tottori Prefecture. The Tottori sand dunes are about 16 kilometers long and2.4 kilometers wide. It is a relatively rare fine sand coast along the Sea of Japan. After purchasing tickets from the "Dune Center Outlook", you can take the cable car to the sand dunes at the foot of the mountain in about 5 minutes.
