The Cape Ashizuri

#japantrip The ocean view from the top of the cape spreads out. There is a statue of John Manjiro Nakahama at the entrance. Although he was only a fisherman, he played a major role for opening Japan at the end of Tokugawa shogunate era. Public transportation from JR Nakamura Station to Cape Ashizuri is available, however that is very unfrequent. Please check the schedule or timetable before you visit Shimanto city.
