Zhongshan Park

Chongfu Zhongshan Park was established in 1933 and is the only town-level park in the country named after Mr. Sun Yat-sen. The Lv Garden and Wenbi Xun Tower in the park still retain their ancient appearance, and the Chongde Confucian Temple located in the park is currently the oldest and best-preserved Confucian temple in the northern Zhejiang region. To better benefit the people's welfare and meet the growing cultural needs of the people, Chongfu has included the renovation and upgrading project of Zhongshan Park into the Chongfu Town People's Livelihood Practical Project. In the second half of last year, the renovation and upgrading project of Zhongshan Park, with a total investment of 10 million yuan, officially started construction. This is also the third renovation since 1985 and 1989. The renovation and upgrading project includes the park lobby, widening the entrance road, adding functional leisure areas, transforming the west side of the lake view, and upgrading the green plants. The newly renovated Zhongshan Park is quite charming. The greening, lighting, and beautification have realized a 'major transformation' of the park's appearance. Not only have new corridors, youth activity areas, and scenic avenues been added as leisure places, but the application of viewing pavilions, cascades, and plants for flower and foliage viewing has also enriched the landscape of the park, truly achieving a different view with every step. Zhongshan Park, which carries many people's childhood memories, is not only a place for leisure and relaxation but also a cultural site that values virtue and learning. The landscape group formed by the Confucius teaching sculpture group, the cultural corridor, and the teaching pavilion, the upgraded Lv Garden... The newly unveiled Zhongshan Park also has an increasingly strong cultural atmosphere.
