Two Days and One Night Leisure Tour in Tonglu - A Deep Experience Introduction: Finally, I set foot in the beautiful county town of Tonglu, which was praised by National Geographic magazine as one of the "Best Travel Destinations in the World." My heart was full of regret for "why did I come here so late" and deep amazement at this land. Day One: The Perfect Blend of Nature and Ancient Charm Morning Departure: At 8 a.m., we set off from Hangzhou. It takes only half an hour by high-speed train or a little over an hour by car to easily reach Tonglu. Upon arrival, the exploration journey of nature and ancient villages officially begins. Daqishan National Forest Park: In the morning, our first stop was Daqishan National Forest Park. This treasure, known as the "Little Jiuzhaigou of Jiangnan," seems like an oxygen bar meticulously carved by nature. Waterfalls cascade down, the ponds are as blue as mirrors, and koi fish swim leisurely, creating a dreamy scene of "floating in the air with nothing to rely on." Walking along the forest paths, breathing in the fresh air, families with children can also easily enjoy the fun of hiking. It takes about an hour to reach the waterfall at the top of the mountain, feeling the shock and coolness. Shishe Village: A Tranquil Ancient Village: Next, we stepped into Shishe Village, which has a history of over four hundred years. This village, named for its abundance of stones, is surrounded by water on three sides and embraced by mountains, with lush green trees, resembling a paradise. The village has only about a hundred households but cleverly integrates ancient paths, homestays, coffee shops, handicraft shops, and intangible cultural heritage snacks, retaining the simple and tranquil village style while not lacking modern life's convenience and comfort. Maling Ancient Path: A Hiking Journey Connecting Ancient and Modern Times: In the afternoon, we embarked on the Maling Ancient Path, a 3.5-kilometer-long path connecting Shishe Village and Maoping Village. The path is paved with stone steps, shaded by green trees, and adorned with wildflowers. On one side is a gurgling mountain spring with flower petals floating along with the water; on the other side is a hillside, where you can overlook the tranquil beauty of Shishe Village from a high place, making you feel relaxed and happy. Maoping Village: The Gentle Beauty in Fuchun Mountains and Waters: Continuing forward, we arrived at Maoping Village. This village is nestled by mountains and rivers, with ancient trees, ancient bridges, and ancient paths reflecting the clear Lutz Creek water. The white-walled and black-tiled houses are scattered in an orderly manner, surrounded by clear streams, presenting a gentle and jade-like pastoral picture. Lutz Village (Optional): Although Lutz Village is across the river from Yan Ziling Fishing Platform, due to its high degree of commercialization, it is more like a gathering place for farmhouses. Unless you are particularly interested, it can be an optional attraction. Food Recommendations: In the evening, why not taste the local specialties, such as rice sieve climbing, Fuchun River fish, stir-fried bacon with spring bamboo shoots, and authentic zongzi, letting your taste buds also immerse in this nature and simplicity. Day Two: Leisure Time by Fuchun River Fuchun River Cruise: On the second day, we woke up naturally and, after breakfast, headed to the Fuchun River. Considering the cost-effectiveness, we gave up the expensive cruise project but chose Jiangnan Longmen Bay on the opposite bank. Here, the duck boats can be self-operated, costing 80 yuan per person, enjoying an hour of boating fun. With fewer people and beautiful scenery, you can play for an entire afternoon. Besides boating, you can also visit the digital museum in the park, feeling the ingenious integration of technology and nature. Conclusion: The two days and one night leisure tour in Tonglu made us deeply feel the harmonious coexistence of nature and ancient charm.
