Tongling City Museum

The Tongling City Museum is located at No. 1506 Bao Road, Tongguan District, Tongling City, Anhui Province, on the east bank of the West Lake Wetland Park. The new museum of Tongling City Museum has been open since December 2014, covering a total area of 90 acres, with a building area of 20,000 square meters, and a total investment of 260 million yuan. It is a local comprehensive museum and a national second-level museum. The exterior of the Tongling City Museum is constructed based on the design prototype of the bronze ware unearthed in Tongling - the Spring and Autumn beast-eared bird-patterned mirror. Its circular copper curtain wall is assembled from nearly 3,000 square meters of rhombic bronze plates, using up to 50 tons of copper, making it the largest single decorative copper curtain wall in China.
