Tomakomai Midorigaoka Park

As a traveler, I visited Tomakomai Midorigaoka Park in spring, and the cherry blossom scenery here was truly breathtaking. The central pond of the park is surrounded by cherry trees, and when the gentle breeze blows, petals fall onto the water's surface, creating a dreamlike scene. Although this park is not as famous as some attractions in Sapporo city, its quieter atmosphere allows for a peaceful appreciation of this pink wonderland. Local residents often picnic on the grass, creating a harmonious and friendly vibe. I particularly enjoyed strolling along the pathways, occasionally encountering adorable dogs or families capturing heartwarming moments. If you prefer a slower pace and dislike crowded cherry blossom viewing spots, this park is definitely worth a visit. I recommend coming in the morning when the light is soft, making for better photos.
