The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace

The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo is a beautiful and huge garden open to the public. Free entrance. There was a security guard at the entrance for checking. You just need to open your bag and show what’s inside will do. Upon entering, you will see a wide lawn and the remaining foundation of the former castle tower on top of the hill. This is the Tenshudai, Base of Edo Castle Keep. There was a signboard that explains the history of the base. When you climb up the hill, you can see some high-rise buildings and commercial towers. Along the way, there were maps showing you the attractions nearby. Some of the interesting places include the Imperial Palace and National Art Gallery.
