Nadai UnaToto Super Affordable Unadon

This restaurant has been recommended by many travelers and food bloggers. It is one of the Ueno’s most affordable and delicious Unadon (Grilled eel and rice). As you know, Unadon is not cheap, it normally costs more than S$15 per bowl in Singapore. But here, they only sell it at 590 yen (S$5.90). I ordered the Double Unadon, which was only priced at 1100 yen (S$11). It came with 2 thick cut super yummy charcoal grilled eel. Just add another 490 yen (S$4.90) you can get a small bowl of miso soup and eel omelet. Really value for money and highly recommended. The service was quick despite the crowds. You can sit at second floor, more seating available.
