I arrived early in the morning, when the streets were still quiet, and stepped through the café’s beautiful revolving door into a world that felt straight out of another era. I ordered the Antique Blend (¥600, morning price) and an Éclair (¥650) — both simple yet exquisite. The éclair is freshly filled with cream upon order, so the choux pastry stays delightfully crisp, while the cream inside is light and silky. The coffee, smooth and aromatic, paired beautifully with the sweetness. During morning hours, drinks are about half price, making it an unexpectedly affordable indulgence in Ginza. The upstairs seating wasn’t open that morning, so I waited a little to be seated — but it was absolutely worth it.
