🇯🇵4 Days, 3 Nights Tokyo⛩️Off-the-beaten-path Food and Drink Itinerary🤪📷

✈️Every trip to Japan involves a shopping spree! 😍! But sometimes, I crave a little me-time to explore the world. Slow down 👣 and enjoy a cup of coffee ☕️ and savor the Japanese charm 👘🏯🍣🍡 Day 1️⃣ Asakusa & Roppongi Kick off our Japan trip with a quintessentially Japanese breakfast. 📍MISOJYU 👣Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo For a simple Japanese breakfast, 🍳 the plum rice balls are a popular choice. However, since the set menu includes quite a few dishes, I opted for the salt-flavored rice balls so I could savor the other dishes. Since the restaurant is quite popular, I recommend taking it for a takeaway and enjoying it at the hotel. 😚 It's even closer than Gotoku-ji Temple! Hidden Cat Shrine in Asakusa 🐈🐈⬛ 📍Imado Shrine 👣1-5-22 Imado, Taito-ku, Tokyo A 15-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple, this shrine is dedicated to the gods of marriage and is renowned for its marriage benefits. It's also said to be one of the birthplaces of the Maneki Neko (Lucky Cat) 😚 If you're looking for love and money, 🥰 or if you're looking for money, why not give it a try? 🙌🏻! A classic photo spot for "Your Name" 📷 And finally, free admission ☺️ 📍The National Art Center, Tokyo 👣7-22-2 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo This is a museum designed by renowned Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa. The building itself boasts a striking geometric beauty. Sunlight filters through the glass exterior, softening the interior lighting. Perfect for taking stunning photos 📷360-degree views 🙌🏻 Day 2️⃣ Wandering in Kamakura 🌊Viewing Mount Fuji from afar 🗻 It's only an hour's drive from Tokyo. The must-see spot is in front of Kamakura High School 🚋, but there are actually photo-ops all along the coastline overlooking Mount Fuji. 📷 Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great that day, and visibility was low, so I wasn't able to capture Mount Fuji from the sea. 🗻 Don't miss it when you visit! 😜! Personally recommending a rare seaside restaurant 🐋🌊🏖️ 📍Windera Cafe Shichirigahama Branch 👣1-4-11 Shichirigahama, Tower 1F-A, Shichirigahama, Kamakura City The staff speaks a little English, so ask for a seat near the sea for a stunning view 🌅! The restaurant's most popular dish is definitely the Fuji Cream Soda! I also ordered a main course. The rich, fatty salmon, smoky, multigrain rice, the umami-rich local fish, and fresh vegetables 🥬, all paired with a vinaigrette, are a must-try! 🤤 Day 3️⃣ Kichijoji · Jiyugaoka Ever since my favorite Japanese pop diva, Aimu, sang the theme song "Once Alive" for the Japanese drama "Do You Want to Live in Kichijoji?" 🎶, I've been wanting to visit Kichijoji. Upon visiting, I realized what a hidden gem it is! Kichijoji offers a unique blend of retro Japanese style 🎞️, arty goods ✏️, exquisite desserts 🍮, and traditional culture 👘. For a hipster, it's definitely worth a day spent exploring its streets. A parfait cup that's like a work of art 🍨 📍Golden Osmanthus Tea Shop 👣2-5-6 Nishi-Ogminami, Suginami-ku, Tokyo, Japan Owned by a Shanghainese couple 👩🏻❤️👨🏻, the shop meticulously crafts the decor, plates, and desserts. ❣️ This time, I ordered the "Southern Wind" parfait and a cup of golden osmanthus tea. The parfait is refreshing, featuring pineapple as the main flavor 🍍, topped with oolong tea ice cream and the unusual lemon olive oil ice cream 🍨, a base of watermelon sorbet 🍉 and Darjeeling pudding 🍮, and topped with passion fruit jam. A summer filled with exotic charm ⛳️ Jiyugaoka is a quiet, artistic neighborhood 🚃 a haven for groceries ✏️ a place to get up close and personal with Japanese aesthetics 🍽️📽️🪑 If you love home decor, don't miss it 😜 📍Dulton This Dulton flagship store in Jiyugaoka is believed to be the largest in Tokyo. Its signature industrial style 🍴American retro 🏈 vibrant colors 🍭 are the brand's defining features. The homeware I wanted most was their storage cabinet 🤣, but I couldn't. In the end, I only bought a small yellow desktop trash can 🗑️ Day 4️⃣ Tokyo Station At the end of our trip, Tokyo Station was a must-visit 🤪 for souvenir shopping 🥰!! Introducing three of my personal favorite souvenirs 😋 📍This week's hottest 🍌 ~ Tokyo Banana x Chiikawa Cute and delicious 😝I recommend going early or at your own risk! 📍Unbeatable ~ Press Butter Sand I love this cookie so much that even though there's a store in Causeway Bay's SOGO, I'd still bring some back from Japan. 📍Brulee Merize If you love caramel custard, this souvenir is a must-try. Their baked caramel butter brulee cookie reveals a silky caramel slick 😗. It's unforgettable ♾️ If you like my post, give it a thumbs up 👍🏻 and look forward to my next one! #TokyoTravel #TokyoFreeTravel #TokyoDestinations #TokyoFood #TokyoFoodGuide #TokyoFoodRecommendations #TokyoFoodExplore
