Tokyo National Museum Heiseikan: Japanese Archaeology

I visited the Japanese Archaeology exhibition currently being held at the Heiseikan of the Tokyo National Museum ☺️ The exhibition periods vary depending on the artifacts, but it traces Japan's history from the Paleolithic period to the Edo period. There were many exhibits that allowed me to feel the history, such as Jomon period clay figurines, Yayoi period bronze bells, and Kofun period haniwa clay figures. I even got to touch a koban (old Japanese gold coin) and realized how surprisingly heavy it is.
