Meiji Shrine (Tokyo)

#mytraveldiary Tucked within the forest of Yoyogi Park, Meiji Shrine is a green sanctuary in the middle of Tokyo. The massive torii gate welcomed me into a serene world, where wide gravel paths led to the main hall. The atmosphere was reverent, with visitors writing wishes on wooden ema plaques and tying them to stands. I joined in the purification ritual before entering the shrine, feeling a sense of connection to tradition. Despite being so close to bustling Shibuya, Meiji Shrine felt like another world — peaceful, spiritual, and grounding. #mytraveldiary
