Arriving at Nijubashi in the Imperial Palace Outer Garden, the scenery before me naturally slowed my pace. This bridge, named for its two-tiered structure, serves as an important gateway to the main entrance of the Imperial Palace and symbolizes the dignity and history of the Japanese Imperial Family.
