Tokyo Travel Diary: My Stay at the Marunouchi Hotel

That's right, this time I chose the Marunouchi Hotel. The location is just too convenient! It is located at 1-6-3 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, right across from Tokyo Station. It is super convenient to get to all kinds of public transportation, whether it's the Shinkansen, JR trains, or the subway. 🚉 There are also many places to visit around, such as the Tokyo KITTE shopping mall, where you can easily spend a whole day. After arriving at the hotel, I took the underground passage, so I didn't have to look for it on the street. The hotel has a separate entrance, and the reception is on the seventh floor. The lobby area is very modern and looks like it's designed for business, but it doesn't lack style. The staff is super friendly and can communicate in English, but there are occasional minor obstacles. However, their service is really great, and they can always find a solution. 💁‍♂️ The room is very comfortable. Although it's not as big as a luxury hotel, it's perfectly adequate for a short stay. What's especially nice is that you can see the platform scenery of Tokyo Station. The room facilities are also great, and the bathroom is spacious and clean, with different fragrances. The room experience is extraordinary. Although it's a bit small, the design is reasonable, and the bed is super comfortable, so I slept very well. 🛏️ It feels like a standard business hotel, but it still has a touch of luxury, and the facilities are top-notch. The room is quiet, and even if you can hear the sound of the trains, it doesn't affect your sleep. The room layout is also very user-friendly, making it especially suitable for short trips. If you have a good view, you can also see the scenery of the station, which is even more beautiful when the lights are turned on at night. There are many recommended places nearby. If you want to eat authentic Japanese cuisine, you can go to the railway station downstairs, which is home to all kinds of delicious places, such as Okonomiyaki-Kiji and Nemuro Hanamaru conveyor belt sushi, which are definitely not to be missed! 🍣 Moreover, the Tokyo Free Walking Tour and the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum are nearby, both of which are worth visiting, providing a one-stop solution for shopping and culture. 🎨 Of course, the not-so-perfect thing is that the rooms are a bit small, which may not be spacious for people with large luggage. So if you have space requirements, it's best to choose a higher floor or ask the hotel about the room size in advance. 😩 In addition, the price is not cheap, about USD 290 per night, which feels a bit expensive. But considering the location and service, the price/performance ratio is still good! Overall, I would still highly recommend the Marunouchi Hotel. The location is excellent, the service is excellent, and coupled with the charm of Tokyo itself, it's really a fulfilling trip! ✨
