Tranquil Steam and Warm Hearts: A Day at Heiwajima Onsen

Staying at the Dormy Inn Natural Hot Spring Hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, I was impressed by its minimalist Japanese design and the highlight of its natural hot spring baths. Today, I decided to venture a bit further to Heiwajima Onsen as my destination. Taking a ride to the seaside, I passed by Tokyo Bay, enjoying the expansive views. Heiwajima Onsen boasts comprehensive facilities, including open-air baths and hot stone rooms that offer complete relaxation for both body and mind. While soaking in the hot springs, I watched the gentle sway of tree shadows in the sea breeze, as if time had come to a standstill. Returning to Ikebukuro in the evening, I indulged in another soak at the hotel’s hot spring, letting the warmth dissipate the fatigue of the journey. This day, without rushing to tourist spots, brought true healing to both my body and soul.
