Immersed in Wonder at teamLab Planets

Visiting teamLab Planets in Tokyo was one of the absolute highlights of our recent Japan trip. It was our first time experiencing an immersive illumination show like this, and it truly blew us away. The entire exhibition was mesmerizing — walking barefoot through the installations and being surrounded by lights, mirrors, and interactive digital art was an eye-opening experience that left a lasting impression on us. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. If there was one slight drawback, it was that we didn’t bring better photography equipment. All our photos were taken with smartphones, and while they captured glimpses of the magic, they really couldn’t do justice to the actual beauty and immersive atmosphere of the place. We pre-booked our tickets online via Trip.com, which was super convenient. Just be sure to arrive at your selected entry time. We went on a weekday afternoon and the entry process was smooth with a surprisingly comfortable crowd level — not overly packed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo, especially if you’re into art, lights, or just looking for something unique and memorable!
